On Saturday 20th May 2006, the Albert Hall is booked for a massive centenary-celebrating, youth event entitled ‘No Turning Back: The Main Event’. We are hoping that over 4,000 leaders and young people (aged 10+) from across the Groups will come together for this extravaganza, which will includes a fantastic line up including:
We also plan to have many other special guests and speakers. The doors will be open for the event (which will probably cost £12 per person) at around 2pm and it will run as follows:
1st half – 3pm to 4:30pm
Interval – 4:30pm to 5pm
2nd half – 5pm – 6:30pm
That’s over three hours of fun, loudness and opportunities for your young people to get engaged with some serious God honouring and challenging stuff.
If possible we’re hoping to form a mass choir of 100 young people to join DELIRIOUS? to sing a closing song, so if you have some budding singers in your Group who would like to join the mass choir then stay tuned!!!!
Finally, why not come earlier and join other Crusaders for a ‘picnic in the park’ together before the main event.
HELP REQUIRED: Some Groups will have quite a distance to travel to come to this event. If you live in and around the M25 area, then please let us know whether you/your Church could offer overnight accommodation, so that Groups can return on the Sunday.
